Tree Planting
After exploring the issues discussed during the summit, class three considered possible ways of responded. They decided to write a formal persuasive letter to our CEO requesting permission to plant more trees on the school field. She was highly impressed with their letter writing skills and passion to make a difference. Permission was granted!
Increasing biodiversity
- Will Watson, a local farmer, helped class three to build a large bug hotel in our Spiritual Garden
- A group of volunteers reinstated the pond
- Each class sowed wildflower seeds in the raised beds during Science Week
