Food For Thought Project

Angela from ‘Food for Thought’ visited Landscove again today. Class 1 really enjoyed looking at all different artefacts from Uganda, the loved trying on the school uniform and seeing what toys children in Uganda played with. Class 2 worked with Angela to weed and prepare their flower bed ready for planting beans. Class Three looked at food diaries from our partner school and children in Class Four learnt all about keeping bees.

Class 4 welcomed some special visitors this week: Godfrey, a garden trainer from Uganda, and Sue and Angela who help run The Food for Thought Project. We learnt about the Geography of the country, viewed photographs and planted our own bag gardens. The children all wrote introductory letters for Godfrey to take home with him and deliver to our link school.
