Welcome to Class Four!

We are a mixed Year 5 and Year 6 class taught by Mrs Barons with the support of Mrs Pearse, Mrs Price and Miss Raymont.

In Class Four, we are passionate about creating an environment where every child feels valued, supported and empowered to flourish in every aspect of their life. Guided by our Christian values and a shared sense of belonging, collaboration and curiosity, we prepare our Upper Key Stage 2 pupils for the next stage of their educational journey.

Whilst in Class Four, our children embrace new responsibilities, develop leadership and public speaking skills, and explore exciting, more advanced areas of learning. As a mixed-age class, we follow a rolling curriculum that ensures all pupils cover the full National Curriculum during their time in Years 5 and 6. Our curriculum is designed to challenge children to think critically, express their creativity and build the resilience they will need for a successful transition to secondary school. Learning is enriched through memorable experiences, and we are looking forward to an exciting and action-packed year, including a range of educational trips, sporting events, visitors and our much-anticipated residential trip!
